Diablo 4's endgame has taken on a different shape since the Lord of Hatred expansion, and the Talisman system now sits at the centre of serious build planning. A well-finished charm collection can matter more than another small weapon upgrade, especially when you are preparing for tougher Torment content. That is why many players keep a close eye on D4 items while shaping a build, comparing set bonuses and planning which drops are worth chasing.

Why Set Charms Matter So Much

Set Charms are not just background stat pieces. Their bonuses change how a character plays. The first useful breakpoint usually comes with two pieces, giving the build a clear offensive direction. With Rogue's Nilfur's Narrow Eye set, casting a Marksman Basic Skill grants a stack of Vengeance. Each stack improves movement speed and Marksman damage, so the bonus feels useful in ordinary fights rather than only during boss attempts. You can move, fire and build momentum at the same time.

The Defensive Breakpoint

The three-piece bonus is where the set stops feeling like a purely offensive project. Nilfur's Narrow Eye can generate Dark Shroud shadows automatically and adds a flat 25 percent damage reduction. That extra protection gives a Rogue more room to make mistakes, which matters in crowded events and high-tier dungeons. You do not have to dodge every hit perfectly. The build still needs sensible armour, resistances and cooldown management, but this bonus takes pressure off your defensive setup.

Chasing the Five-Piece Power Spike

Most players are really farming for the five-piece effect. Nilfur's Narrow Eye grants 200 percent increased Marksman damage and can trigger Basic Skills several times after you target an enemy. The result is obvious almost at once: packs disappear faster, elite targets lose health quickly, and the build feels ready for a higher Torment tier. It is worth remembering that the bonus does not fix poor positioning or a weak skill setup. It works best when your gear, paragon choices and resource generation already support Marksman attacks.

Farming Without Wasting Your Time

Set Charms can appear from regular Elites, but the hunt becomes more practical in Torment III, where their drop rate improves noticeably. The Kurast Undercity is a strong choice when you want a focused farming route instead of hoping every world event pays off. War Plans deserve attention too. Pick options that reward the charm categories you need, then run them in batches. Keep useful duplicates for testing or alternate builds, and salvage the rest so your inventory does not become a second boss fight. A steady route, supported by D4 items cheap, can make the five-piece target feel far less distant.
